Basildon and District Rambling Club
Taking life a step further

A Message from the BADRC Chairman regarding COVID-19

The easing of lockdown measures allows more freedom for walkers. However, the advice remains to limit your contact with others.

From 4th July, people in England can exercise alone, with members of your household (or support bubble), or with up to 5 other people from outside your household. You should maintain a distance of 2m between people from different households, or 1m plus mitigations (such as face coverings or avoiding face-to-face contact) where 2m is not possible. Avoid touching gates, fences etc. If you do, wash your hands as soon as possible, or as soon as you get home.

I am sure that all Members will agree that it is essential that we continue to do all we can to protect our Members and the public generally, from this devastating virus as our health and well being is paramount.

Please stay safe in these extremely difficult and unprecedented times.

Regards,

Jonathan Morley
Chairman
